In the layout of this volume, each date of the issue has been followed by a two-part numeral, which shows the post office volume and the page in that volume in which the type appears.
the standard of strikes in the record are not perfect and it has been necessary to a greater or lesser degree to 'improve' those works.
Students are recommended to refer to the main work for an exact reproduction.
However, this index enables all parties to decide the pages and volumes which need study for a specific project and avoid the problems of closure at weekends and possible removal of records to another location.
